How to setup and forward to a Gmail address
You can create a new Gmail email address for free at gmail.com. If you already have a Gmail email address, follow the steps below:
1. Have your business email forwarded to your Gmail email address
Once you have set up your Gmail email address (eg email@example.com), you can forward your business email eg firstname.lastname@example.org, to go to your Gmail email address using Zeald’s Domain & Email Manager. If you forward your emails, this means means you won’t need a mailbox with Zeald and won’t have to pay $10/year +GST for each email mailbox!)
2. Setup your Gmail email to receive your business emails
It is easy to setup your Gmail to receive your business emails. You can even import old and existing mail from your business email.
You can also choose to receive more than one business email to your Gmail
(eg email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org to go to email@example.com)
3. Send email from Gmail using your business email address
Once you setup your Gmail to receive your business email, you can choose to send from Gmail using your business email !
(this means your customers won’t receive email from firstname.lastname@example.org but email@example.com)
4. Download and view your Gmail email in your email client such as Outlook
Once you have setup your Gmail account and have your business emails forwarded to your Gmail account, you can setup to receive Gmail (which includes business email) on your Outlook, Apple Mail etc
